Golden Glutinous Balls

Care for Golden Glutinous Balls ? Here is the recipe for it.

Skin Ingredients  
Glutinous rice flour 250 g
Sugar 70 g
Water 170 g
Fillings  
Peanuts (fried/baked and grounded) 60 g
Sesame seeds 14 cups
Oil 1 tablespoon

Method
1.Boil water. Add in sugar. Stir sugar till dissolve. Pour sugar syrup into a mixing bowl. Leave to cool.
2.Add glutinous rice into the mixing bowl. Knead it to form a dough.
3.Divide dough into smaller portions. Flatten the portion and add in fillings. Mold into balls. Coat it with sesame seeds.
4.Heat oil till hot. Fried glutinous balls till golden brown. Leave them in a plate to cool. Serve.


Glutinous Rice Ball Dessert!

Ingredients
Glutinous Rice Flour 120 g
Boiled water 80 g
Cold water 100 g
Red coloring 1 tbsp
Fillings (optional)
Groundnuts (bake and ground) 100 g

Method
1.Mix glutinous rice flour with boiled water. Knead it evenly.
2.Add in cold water to (1). Continue kneading until it forms a dough.
3.Divide dough into half.
4.Add in red coloring to half of the dough. Knead the dough till colour spread evenly to form the red dough.
5.Divide the red dough into small portions. Flatten them, wraps them with fillings into balls.
6.Divide the white dough into small portions. Flatten them, wraps them with fillings into balls.

Syrup  
Water 4 bowls
Red sugar 90 g
Pandan leaves 4 leaves

Methods
1.Boil the water.
2.Add in pandan leaves. Continue boiling it.
3.Add in red sugar. Stir till sugar dissolve completely.
4.Add in glutinous rice balls into the syrup, continue simmering it till glutinous rice balls floating. Serve hot.


Chili Prawn

Ingredients
Shrimps 10
Red chili 1
Garlic 5 cloves
Shallot 1 clove
Ginger 2 slices
Onion 1
Chili sauce 2 tablespoon
Marinade
Salt ¼ teaspoon
Ginger juice wine 2 teaspoon

1.Remove prawn shell with head and tails remain, devein. Wash and wipe dry. Mix with marinade.
2.Chop shallot and garlic finely. Cut chilli and onions in slices.
3.Heat the pan with 2 tablespoon of vegetable oil. Stir fry shallot, ginger and red chilli till fragrance.
4.Add in shrimps. Stir fry till orange in colour.
5.Add in some ¼ teaspoon salt. Add in sauces. Stir fry.
6.Add in 2 tablespoon of water. Mix well with shrimps. Continue to stir fry till fragrance. Serve .
